When I bought IntroCave (now Intro Maker!) in 2018, I had a bold dream: all my blog posts would feature pictures of lemurs.

Why?

It's simple! I like lemurs, and I don't take blog posts too seriously. (Also the official name of the company is HH Lemur LLC on my taxes.)

After about a year of that, I ran into a big problem. There aren't that many good stock photos of lemurs out there. Web development fills up my "side hustle" bucket pretty well, so I didn't really have the time to add on "amateur wildlife photographer" (or fly to Madagascar).

I gave up on my dream.

I posted business-y stock photos for a while.

For the last few months (since I started doing a YouTube video each month), I've just been reusing my YouTube thumbnail for each month's demo reel.

It felt kind of like this:

BIG NEWS! Lemurs are back!

I got to play with DALL·E 2 and make a few lemurs. I hadn't written this post yet (or else I would've asked for a picture of a robot drawing a lemur) and I don't have access myself yet, but I'm excited to get access and generate topical lemur pictures forevermore.
