12 New Intros for February 2021

It took a lot of restraint (and laziness) to not photoshop dogecoin or Gamestop onto a rocket ship.

12 New Intro Videos for February 2021

January was wild. I get my insane gambling fix from buying websites, so I managed to mostly stay out of the reddit/GameStop drama. IntroCave is a pretty slow-moving bus at this point, though, so all the juiciest stuff happened too late in the month to give me time to make weird topical finance intro videos (doge on a rocket?).

It was a pretty quiet month at IntroCave HQ: a few copy tweaks, patching up a few old intro videos to have better dynamic text sizing, and cranking away on new content. I was able to publish a big (for me) recap post for 2020.

Themes for this month include creepy smoke, neon signs, weird biological particles, and some glorious VHS glitches. You can watch them all in one video over at the IntroCave YouTube Channel. I added a few new drops using these videos over on the free drops page.

it me

IntroCave is a one-person-show operated by Will Hankinson, but it's not 100% accurate to say every word is written by me. Some articles were live on the site when I took over. I hire writers from time to time to work on specific articles. People keep asking me to do guest posts, but I haven't actually seen any relevant submissions yet. "Intro Maker staff" might make a better by-line, but currently that's just me. I've been building digital things for 10+ years now, and some of my favorite projects are posted over at my personal website if you want to take a look!
